BIG DATA Academy
Free summer academy for middle school girls at Emory University that focuses on real data from cancer patients and how to discover what causes cancer. The students will learn about cancer, how new data is generated, and how these super huge datasets (big data) are mined. Takes place over a 2-week or 1-week session and led by Emory scientists and staff. (See one of our virtual 2020 classes to the left!)

CODE HD
Code HD is a free program at Emory University to introduce middle school students to the intersection of health and technology. Join us each year in partnership with the Atlanta Science Festival for our Health Hackathon where students learn to code and develop their own health focused app!
AFTER SCHOOL STEM
Experiential STEM curriculum for middle schools that focuses on hands-on learning & aligns with science standards. The students will learn about cancer, how new data is generated, and how these super huge datasets (big data) are mined. Takes place over 8 to 10 after-school sessions.
